Charlie’s Place
This popular African American nightclub and small hotel, owned by Charlie and Sarah Fitzgerald from the late 1930s to the early 1960s in the Booker T. Apollo Moonprints in Cement
Set in concrete, the moonprints were created by Charles M. Duke Jr., a South Carolina native who wore similar boots during his walk on the moon.

Birthplace of Sports Illustrated Monument
The monument, located beside the clubhouse at the heart of the Hall of Fame Garden, marks the spot where the idea for Sports Illustrated magazine was first conceived. Founded by Henry Luce, who, despite not being a sports enthusiast, recognized the potential profit among sports fans.

Atalaya Castle

The Garden City UFO House
A flying saucer-shaped structure elevated on supports was built in the 1970s by Miami architect Peter Vander Klout. It was an early attempt at designing a "hurricane-proof" home capable of withstanding winds up to 300 mph. INSIDER'S TIP: Good view from Gulf Stream Café
